Notification Configurations

The Notification Configuration module is available only to Law Firm Administrators to enable them to activate the SMS and Email notifications and alerts in the eLitigation system for ALL Law Firm Users.  These settings will be automatically populated to the Notification Preference settings of each user in the Law Firm.

As these settings will apply to all Law Firm Users, it is recommended that the Law Firm Administrator confirm with the users before activating them in the Notification Configurations module.  If the Law Firm Administrator cannot confirm the users’ preference, he/she may choose not to make any settings in the Notification Configurations module.  In which case, no Email and SMS notification and alerts will be activated for the Law Firm Users.

Nevertheless, the user can activate their preferred notifications and alerts in the Notification Preference module at any time.  This will override any Notification Configuration settings that the Law Firm Administrator has made.

To configure notifications and alerts:

  1. Go to the Notifications Configurations Page.

(Main Menu >> Notifications and Alerts >> Notification Configurations)

The Notification Configuration settings will be automatically populated to the Notification Preference module of the Law Firm Users. The Law Firm User can retain the notification types set by the Law Firm Administrator or amend/update his/her selection in the Notification Preference module.

Please note that each time the Law Firm Administrator changes the Notification Configuration settings, it will re-populate to the Law Firm Users’ settings in the Notification Preference module.  Thus any changes in the Notification Configuration module, after the users have made their own changes in the Notification Preference module, will have to be reviewed carefully.

All notifications and alerts will commence on the Supreme Court eLitigation launch.
