  1. The user will also be asked to add the Nature of Case depending on the type of Writ selected.

 

Click Add to view the list of Nature of Case categories.

Marriage Details

 

Mark the relevant Nature of Case checkbox and then click Save.  The selected Nature of Case will be displayed on the Nature of Case list.

The user may add up to 10 Nature of Case categories.  Click Add to add more Nature of Case categories to the list.

To delete an entry, mark the corresponding checkbox and then click Delete.

 

  1. Indicate the No of Days to file MOA.  The user can choose between 8 Days (if the Service is in Singapore) or 21 Days (if the Service is outside of Singapore).

 

Jurisdiction Details

  1. In the Jurisdiction Details section, select the Type of Jurisdiction and Identification Type for the Plaintiff and Defendant.  Enter the Jurisdiction Details in the field provided.

In legal terms, a Domicile is the place where an individual has a fixed and permanent home for legal purposes. It may equally be referred to as the home address to which a person always intends to return for prolonged periods.

On the other hand, Habitual Residence is the ordinary residence of the person.

 

  1. In the Related Proceeding section, the user will be asked to indicate any related proceedings to the case.

 

Click Add to enter details of any related proceeding.

  1. Enter information about the related proceeding and then click Save.  The details will be listed in the Related Proceeding section.

  1. Indicate if the parties have an HDB Property.  Select Yes or No.

 

If Yes is selected, indicate if the parties wish to file a Matrimonial Property Plan (for HDB flats only).  If Yes is selected for this question, indicate if the Matrimonial Property Plan is a Proposed or Agreed upon document.

If the child is below 21 years old, the parties will be asked to file a Parenting Plan.

If the selected Nature of Case is a three-year separation, the parties will be asked if they wish to file a Consent for IJ.

 

  1. Click Next.  The Step 2: Form Page will be displayed.
